Filet Mat from 1933 Women's Magazine

I found this picture of these filet mats in a women's magazine dated Dec 1933. There was no
pattern as it was only being used as an example on how one could use such things to make
a nightdress case or handkerchief sachet. After searching hither and yon for the pattern
to no avail I sat down with a magnifying glass and charted the pattern. I recommend that after printing the chart out you mark every fifth or tenth gridline with a coloured pen to make it easier to follow. Click on the images below to view the charts. |
